What we store

Just what's needed to send you your newsletter:

• Your email address.
• Your newsletter description, refinements, topics, and frequency.
• Timestamps of your signup and issues sent to you.
• The IP address you signed up from (used only for anti-abuse rate limiting).

We don't sell or share your data. We don't run ads.

AI-generated content

Each issue is written by AI (Anthropic Claude) using your description and public web sources. Your email address is not sent to the AI — only your topic preferences.

Double opt-in

After signup you receive a confirmation email. Your newsletter only starts after you click the confirmation link.

One-click unsubscribe

Every issue includes a one-click unsubscribe link at the bottom. Clicking it deletes your subscription immediately — no questions, no login. Standard email List-Unsubscribe headers are supported for Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook.

Subprocessors

We use a few third-party services to make Briefed work:

• Supabase — database hosting.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Anthropic — AI content generation.
• Tavily — web search for source material.
